After 2 trips to visit the selected sites outlined in the brief i came to the decision that site 1 would be used for my gallery. The reason for this was its close proximity to the Dendy Cinema as well as popular restaurants and cafes. This therefore means a large amount of human traffic exists in these areas, as well as late at night while the cinema is in operation.
This site was also selected because of the park that exists behind the site. I felt, since this Gallery must also house a unit for the owner, the view of the park will be an escape from the business and noise of King Street.
