This workshop helped me understand how to use colour in an effective and meaningful way within communicating architecture and design. It improved my composition skills and well as my crafting and construction abilities too. This workshop also involved spatial experience where i was required to visit a space and express my experience of it and its colour scheme through a tunnel book.

WORKSHOP 1 - Material Modelling - SUMMARY
This studio taught me how to express an idea or experience through sculpture. By restricting the materials we were allowed to use, it taught us to push and manipulate what we had in different ways to make our piece more successful. It also tied together the importance of the individual in communcation and links philosophy and art to design thinking. It was about letting go and simply allowing what was in your mind to flow our through your hands.
