A common thread which has been woven between the three workshops I participated in is the relationship between human experience and communication. All three workshops I felt, placed an importance on the individual encountering a spatial experience of some kind. Whether it was undergoing a trip to the city and creating a sculpture based on our exploration of a space, visiting a restaurant and expressing colour through a tunnel book, or sitting with our peers experiencing a space such as the MOS through drawing. All three workshops challenged preconceived ideas of communication and encouraged students to go further. They encouraged this by attempting to make us let go and not let our minds overpower what we try communicate. In some cases the materials speak for themselves or our eyes are able to do the thinking for us.
